Do you have an interest in digitization and digital infrastructure? If so, this position may be of interest to you. We can offer an exciting job dealing with these issues in a dynamic environment.

Your Workday. Sweden's Tomorrow.

The Unit for Digital Infrastructure and Security, together with the Unit for Digitization of the Public Administration, is responsible for issues concerning the digitization of society. The area of responsibility includes, among other things, the security and robustness of digital infrastructure, the sector's crisis preparedness and role in civil defense, the market for digital services, and the postal market. The unit is part of the Department for Public Administration, which also oversees the governance of municipalities, public procurement, public statistics, gaming policy, state property management, and consumer issues.

The unit works with legislation, policy development, and government oversight. We handle the entire legislative chain, both nationally and at the EU level. In addition to EU negotiations, we participate in cooperation within the EU and other international organizations. We also prepare decision-making materials and speaking notes for the political leadership.

The work on legislation in the area of digitization takes place at the intersection of new technology and law. In the role of qualified lawyer, you contribute to shaping and adapting regulations in line with both the challenges that technological development may bring and the policy development that largely occurs at the EU level. You will handle complex issues that are directly related to rapid global changes. You work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues within the department and other parts of the Government Offices. Review, quality assurance, and preparation of proposals for decisions in government matters, as well as work on issues within other areas of the department's responsibilities, are also part of the job.

Your Qualities

This position suits you if you are unpretentious and skilled at collaborating. You are also analytical, structured, and quality-conscious. You have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you have the ability to see the big picture and find feasible paths towards set goals.

The criteria for employees at the Government Offices are wholeness, development, and results. Everyone working at the Government Offices needs to have a holistic view and collaborate for the best of the organization.
